An electric toy and its power supply can raise different assessment questions. Start with the actual product configuration: its electrical functions, batteries or external supply, intended age group and accessible parts. What does the collection list? The Genorma electric-toy standards collection lists EN IEC 62115:2020 with A11:2020, and publications from the EN 61558 series covering separating transformers and transformers for toys. The documents listed are national adoptions; check the specific edition and language when ordering. This is not a complete electromagnetic-compatibility or battery-chemistry library. Do not assume that a standard is included because it is relevant to an electrically powered product. Check applicable general parts, referenced documents and later amendments separately. IEC 61643-41 is a published standard for surge protective devices connected to DC low-voltage power systems. An older project listing should not be used to describe its current publication status. What the 2025 publication covers The IEC publication record identifies IEC 61643-41:2025 and a scope covering DC systems up to 1,500 V. It addresses requirements and tests for the devices within that scope. This is not a universal AC surge-protection standard or a complete installation design guide. The characteristics of the DC source and the device's intended application matter; do not assume every DC circuit or source arrangement is covered in the same way.
